The Foundation for Health Leadership & Innovation saw a lot of changes in 2016. We updated our name and logo, launched a more interactive website, and introduced the opportunity for online giving, which enables you to support the Foundation and its programs at any time throughout the year.
We also experienced tremendous growth in our programs. In 2016, our programs developed and shared new educational resources to address existing oral health disparities, assisted practitioners in integration of behavioral health services to enhance patient care, and engaged and equipped more residents to shape their community health outcomes.
This year, we anticipate the recruitment of our largest class of Jim Bernstein Health Leadership Fellows, and we will build new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships to ensure healthy communities where all people can flourish. Because of this, we recently asked our supporters to consider giving to the Foundation’s General fund to help us build and sustain the space, resources, and expertise that our programs and partnerships need in order to collectively address our communities’ most challenging health issues.
We deeply appreciate the generosity of those who donated in response to our end of year request (by December 31, 2016). We received nearly $1,000 from five donors, and we would like to thank them all for their support.
