Rural communities are unique. And the failure to address the particular strengths and challenges they face can result in poor health outcomes for the people living there. Because of these distinctions, it is important to consider and prioritize the rural perspective when addressing health disparities.
The NC Rural Health Leadership Alliance supports partnerships and strategies that improve health outcomes in rural North Carolina.
Whether it is reading the latest news regarding rural health, or accessing webinars and trainings from rural health thought leaders, let the NC Rural Health Leadership Alliance connect you with membership resources that will help you advocate for your rural community.
Our organization relies on a broad set of member/partners. They are the fuel that drives our mission and without them NCRHLA cannot function. While members can be organizations or individuals, rural or urban, North Carolinian or otherwise, they are all committed to vibrant rural places with equal access to health and health care.
